How To Become A Featured Artist

PSAA member artists can submit six to eight works of art for consideration and must provide a photograph of the work, the size, title and medium,  and a short biography (no longer than one paragraph) to be included on the web page. A link to your personal website can be provided on this page. A $20.00 web posting fee will be charged for each participant. Please contact Linda Saladino at 609-660-8062 if you are a PSAA member and are interested in being considered for the Featured Artist page.

Born in England, Dian grew up in New York and lived in New Jersey most

of her married life.  She currently resides in Barnegat with her husband, Don. They have three children and five grandchildren. Dian earned a degree in Computer Science and worked as a Data Base Manager in the IT Department of Brookdale Community College.

Thirteen years ago, Dian moved from the darkroom development of photographs to the exciting conversion of digital photography. Always searching to develop new skills, she enrolled in drawing, pastel and watercolor classes, and now she uses textured papers and adds the various mediums to complete her artistic expressions. “Each photo starts as a visual thought, and after much experimentation, the computer allows me to transform my photographs into images as fluid and beautiful as paintings.”

Dian has affiliations with many art and camera groups.  She is secretary and web site administrator for the Freehold Art Society and currently serves on the PSAA Board as the official photographer.  Her work has been accepted into juried shows including the Statewide NJ Juried Show, the Brookdale Alumni show, the Perkins Center for the Arts, the Monmouth Festival of the Arts, and the Cork Gallery Floral Show in NYC.  She has been represented by the Domani Gallery and the McKay Imaging Gallery in Red Bank.  She has exhibited internationally and locally in Ocean and Monmouth counties and has many awards to her credit. The “Faded Expressions” volume of the INTERNATIONAL LIBRARY OF PHOTOGRAPHY includes one of her images.
