IF YOU HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO
OR HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT SUCCESS, WE MAY HAVE AN OUTDOOR SESSION FOR YOU !
This session - actually a get-together - will be held Tuesdays or Thursdays, dates TBD from 9:30am -12:30pm... and it's free!
Locations will be announced prior to each session, and a different location will be selected for each.

Hi, all! I hope this finds all of you and your families well and ready for some warmer weather! Along with the hopefully better weather, comes opportunities to get back outside to do some painting (not speaking of windows, trim, fences or clapboard siding, unless it's in your painting!).
For the last two years, Lisa Budd generously donated her time as the coordinator of our plein air sessions, and we can't thank Lisa enough for her efforts! This year, we find ourselves once again in search of someone (or a few of you) who will coordinate the group's efforts in terms of meeting dates, times and places. There is no need for the coordinator to attend all sessions, if they can't or choose not to attend. The coordinator will suggest/decide on the week's painting destination and email the location, time and date to the group. There is an informal list of current favorite locations based on parking, rest room availability, convenience and maybe even scenery! The group is always open for new site suggestions, so don't hold back if you know of any good locations that we currently don't visit or maybe are not aware.
The dates are typically alternating Tuesdays and Thursdays based on feedback from the last few years. We usually meet about 8:30 -9am and paint until noon, but you are welcome to paint all day if you want. Once the coordinator decides on a location, an email is sent out on the weekend prior to the outing.
Once we find a coordinator for this year, we will post the information of painting locations and dates on our website as well as email all on this list. Speaking of the website, we have photos posted of past outings and artwork so you can see what it is all about if you're wondering. Hopefully we'll see some/many of you out painting this year, as it's educational, a way to get better connected with fellow artists and the environment, and it's FUN!
If you are interested in helping PSAA with coordinating these sessions (multiple coordinators are welcome and makes the task even easier!), please send me (not the entire group!) an email at this address (firstname.lastname@example.org). As always, thanks for your anticipated cooperation! See you out there painting!
