Children's Classes 2012
The goal of these classes is to develop the children's artistic life and enhance their innate and learned talents.  Drawing, painting and art history are always included in each session.  The fundamentals and importance of drawing, in charcoal and pencil, are greatly emphasized.
Paintings includes all types of mediums, such as acrylics, watercolors, and pastels.  Art history is taught through discussion or copying one of the masters.  Collage and other fun projects are also part of the curriculum.

While each class introduces the students to art history, through discussion and exposure to the Masters, instruction of art fundamentals will include use of professional artist’s tools. The students will experience drawing, using charcoal or pencil, and painting, using acrylics, watercolors, oils or collage during the four week sessions.
