Pine Shores Offers the Chance to Become a July Show Art Patron

MANAHAWKIN, NJ—The Pine Shores Art Association summer fundraising event will be an exhibit of 50 framed, original works of art donated by 50 outstanding artists. Each painting will be offered for sale at only $50 to the first 50 people responding to this opportunity. These art patrons will be able to select their favorite work in an order chosen through a lottery drawing at a gala reception beginning at 1 pm on Sunday, July 22 in the Stafford Firehouse at 133 Stafford Avenue in Manahawkin.

Three examples of the artists of national reputation who are donating their art for this fundraiser are Nancy Barch, Robert E. Heyer and Pat Morgan, whose work can be viewed on the home page of this website.

Nancy Barch is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society and National Watercolor Society. She holds numerous national awards and is a featured artist in the recent book 100 Artists of the Mid Atlantic. Her work is in private and corporate collections, and she’s received several commissions from national organizations. Her donation to the Fifty for $50 show is a stunning mixed media work with silkscreen, acrylic and collage elements from her colorful “Gullible” seagull series.

Robert Heyer is renowned as a painter, teacher, and literary contributor to major art magazines. He is a member of the American Artists Professional Leagues of New York City and New Jersey, and a Silver Medal winner of the New Jersey Water Color Society. He’s received hundreds of awards for his artwork which is held in private and corporate collections nationwide. The subject of his beautiful watercolor donated to the July fundraiser is the “Viking Village Market”

Pat Morgan is also an award-winning artist, teacher of acclaim, and a member of Salmagundi Art Club. She is drawn to the quality of watercolor that captures the essence of what she sees, particularly the innocence of children. Her donation of “The Yellow Pail” captures the joy of a child on the beach.

These fine art works, and the 47 other exceptional paintings that will be included in the show, have retail values greatly exceeding the $50 that lucky patrons will pay to receive one. Art lovers and collectors can become show patrons if you are among the first 50 to apply. All you need to do is submit the Art Patron Form now available on our website. To print it out, simply scroll down below.

The event furthers Pine Shores’ year-round efforts to promote fine arts in our community through classes for all ages and community outreach programs that benefit thousands of residents throughout Ocean County. Pine Shores’ programs are supported in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Cultural and Heritage Commission of Ocean County, the Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders and the OceanFirst Foundation.
