PSAA's
Note from Pine Shores’ President Linda Saladino

Welcome to the lovely month of June! So much of the world as we knew it is
starting to come back. PSAA can now be open whenever we see fit. Our first "in
person" General Meeting on May 10th was delightful with a demo on watercolor
crystals by Mary Walker-Baptiste. Our June meeting will be on Monday, June 8th
from 6:30-?  We are trying to have it on Zoom as well. I hope to see more members attending
Our Nominating Committee is searching for someone to fill the President's position for 2022. Contact Tom Rutledge, Mary Walker-Baptiste or Barbara Kraemer if you think you might be interested. I will always be available to help in the transition.
Thanks to Laura Moyer and Alexandra Smith who have volunteered to be registrar and education chair. Kudos to Jeanne Easton and Mary Beth McCabe who did such a fabulous job in those positions. We still need a Hospitality chair which is a fun job with lots of members who volunteer to assist. Sue Porter was great as our Hospitality chair but unfortunately she is moving. We wish her the best. We are still in need of someone to check our phone messages from the comfort of their homes. This is an easy job and you can be the first to hear of all kinds of good deals, opportunities and whatever else comes our way.
For information on any of these positions or if you have trouble pre-registering
online for meetings or classes, call me at 609-660-8062. I am glad to help get your name added to the appropriate list.
With the weather getting warmer, get out there and paint plein air or take photos to paint in your studios! Happy Father's Day to all our Fathers, Grandfathers, Godfathers and Father figures!
    Stay well.

Pine Shore Art Association
Volunteer Positions Open
June 2021

Volunteer positions are vital to our day-to-day efficient and effective functioning.  Each role is part of established committees and new leaders will receive lots of support and guidance from the outgoing chairs, the rest of the team, and the Board.

Volunteers receive much in return for their efforts. Some join to learn new skills; others offer their
experience in any number of areas for the benefit of us all. Pine Shores gives volunteers the unique opportunity to interact with fellow artists in ways that foster new friendships and creative endeavors for ongoing artistic inspiration.

These positions are open NOW and training can begin immediately. Please consider joining the team of movers and shakers that keeps Pine Shores thriving.

Abstract Show

Greetings Artists !

I hope you're enjoying the Memorial Day weekend in-spite of the rainy weather. Our forecast for Tuesday, June 22nd looks good for the next Art Chat so I hope to see you at the Union Market at the Tuckerton Seaport at 10am.

Please bring some Art to share, a chair for yourself and plan to buy something from the menu at the Union Market to thank them for allowing us to meet on their lovely patio.

Also, I know some of you have received a notice from Margaret Hartwell regarding the Pine Shores Art Association's 40th Anniversary books which she will be bringing to Art Chat. Nancy Sterr Lang also asked me to let you know that she'll be bringing books to sell as well. The cost will be $22.00 and according to Margaret, a check would make the bookkeeping easier.

See you soon,

Nancy Glines
