We as artists long to go beyond what we see and find the subtle colors in our atmosphere and introduce them into our paintings.

Come explore watercolors with Jan as she takes you on a journey of colorful palettes to create a more interesting and vibrant painterly rendition of reference photos.
Learn how to mix your colors directly on the paper, and avoid ‘muddy’ colors. Unify your paintings by working with a limited palette. We will work on graded washes and how to simplify water reflections.
