Pine Shores Art Association is allowed a 'soft reopening',
following Coronavirus Guidelines

As part of the effort to curtail the spread of the Covid-19 virus, and as permitted by Stafford Township, Pine Shores Art Association’s classroom and gallery are open for limited in-person programs and Thursday sessions only.  Many of Pine Shores Art's  programs are also available online.  Registration is required.

We look forward to getting back to normal when the threat of this disease has passed, and we will keep you informed.  Please stay connected to Pine Shores Art through this website.  Our gallery exhibits showing your art are online, and let us see what you’re creating now by adding to the work-in-progress page.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we want all our members to stay safe and well.  In the meantime, please let us know about your new creations and share your thoughts.  Let PSAA be your creative outlet during this stressful time.

Thank you,

Note from Pine Shores’ President Linda Saladino

I hope all of you are well and enjoying the spring weather. I have some exciting news this month. We will have our first "in person" General Meeting on Monday, May 10th at 7pm
Mary Walker-Baptiste will give a demo. Plans are to also live-stream the meeting for those who cannot come. Doors will open around 6:30 to be able to take temperatures and have members sign in according to the guidelines. Anyone who has not signed a release form will be required to do so the first time back only.
We are restricted to a maximum of 25 people at any given time. Due to the size of our gallery, 22 members can be socially distant for the meeting and 15 in workshops. We have been given the go ahead to use the building on Monday evenings from 6-9/10pm. Additionally, Wednesdays from 8:30am to 4pm; Thursdays 8:30am to 9pm, and Fridays 8:30am to 4pm. This new schedule started on Monday, April 26th.
Members will be allowed to bring food to eat, but not to share yet. The coffee pot will be available once again. Part of this change is that PSAA will be responsible for cleaning after every session. It is my hope that all participants will
sanitize their own work area with supplies provided by PSAA. If possible, any trash/recyclables should be carried out to be disposed of, like at our beaches.
In other news, Stafford Township is having a Farmers' Market on Tuesdays from 9-12 starting on June 22nd at Heritage Park in Manahawkin (across from "Rita's Ice Cream"). They would like Pine Shores artists to take part by bringing paintings to sell. Rain will cancel the market. We will have to set up a schedule as this will run through the fall. If interested please contact me at 609-660-8062 or email at lasjes5@comcast.net (put Farmers' Market in subject)

I hope to see some of you very soon.

Linda
